CardMeet
Digital business cards, handed over by NFC tap or QR scan. A prototype, not a product you can sign up for yet.
What it is
A digital business card you hand over by tapping a phone against an NFC card or letting someone scan a QR code. The other person gets your details on their screen without typing anything or installing anything, and you can change what your card says after you have handed it out.
Status
Prototype. It is in progress and not open to the public — there is no sign-up, no pricing, and no App Store listing. We are being explicit about that because a half-built product described as launched helps nobody.
Why we are building it
Networking hardware is a good test bed for problems that show up in client work all the time: encoding data into a physical object, handling a scan from a device you do not control, and making the first three seconds of an experience work for someone who has never heard of you.

If you are working on NFC, QR handoff, or anything where software meets a physical object, tell us about it, or email info@citigenlabs.com.
